FosteringJanuary 28, 2014
Have you ever considered fostering a dog? Homeless dogs really do well in foster homes. They receive the training they need to succeed in their new for ever home. Most people say they would never be able to give up a foster dog once the dog was in their home. Yes, you probably will fall in love with your foster dog but if you stick to your goal of providing a temporary home the experience can be extraordinary.
I have fostered in the past and will do so again. I own a dog that was fostered by 2 fantastic women. Bobby, my 3 year old Chihuahua was left at an animal shelter with her blind mom when Bobby and his litter mates were days old. Bobby and his family stayed in 2 foster homes and he has the nicest personality, no bad habits and likes everyone. I attribute that to being well fostered. The Humane Society of Pagosa Springs is always looking for those who will foster. Please call them. 970-731-4771. Pagosa Feed staff Beverly ComptonThis entry was posted in Feed Store, Pets.
